A very 'unusual ' Small Group indeed!
On Friday, the 5th of Feb'2011, our School Of Worship met for our first Small Group Session. Though our Agenda was to just have a short time of Worship, the One who is due of all Worship had plans that were beyond our 'agenda'! The Staff and our 8 students, of which 5 are from the North-East Regions of India and the rest are from the South, did seek The Lord in knowing His Heart! God started ministering to each and every one and what took place next in that room could be a so-called 'first time in history'! Tribes that were considered as 'arch rivals', reconciled with each other, asking forgiveness for the hurt they've caused each other! There was openness and brokenness and healing that could've only been brought forth by The Divine God! Another major breakthrough came in God ministering to our student from Sri Lanka when she opened up about her grudge against the Tamilians. The moment God touched her, she was healed of all the hurt that was caused from years of rejection and separation and there was a release of Godly Forgiveness towards the Tamilians! It was not only the Tribal issues of the North-East but also the Caste system that's very much prevelant in the South, that was brought in the open by The Lord. There was confession and 'standing in the gap' on behalf of people groups for practicing this 'evil'. God revealed His Heart that showed His Love that was equally shed and shared for all - Every person, tribe or community is precious to Him! The Move of God was so strong yet relieving that a normal 1.5 hr session that starts at 8:30am, went on till lunch time scheduled for 1:30pm! Quite a 'Lo...ong' Small Group, yeh ;) All a preparation in seeing His Glory fall in our midst! Praise The Lord our God!!

Comment by Belinda van de Loo on February 8, 2011 at 1:58am I'm so impressed and humbled by God's obvious lovingkindness upon you all there in Chennai. He is so good and yet totally ruthless with anything that will stand between us and Him and between us and one another. I marvel at His faithfulness!
You say this is only the beginning of your SOW?! Looking forward to what's coming next! It's powerful what He is doing among you. I'm rejoicing!
My greetings to all those lovely SOW students and staff!
Blessings,
Belinda
